Rubber Synthetic Teak

Deck making

Rubber synthetic teak lends itself to a lot of possibilities in its method of use. It is a roll product 1m wide that can have caulking channels cut and caulked to obtain the synthetic teak design. For large boats the rolls may be adhered to the deck and the pattern cut into the deck afterwards. This would normally be done by a skilled fitter or a good DIY tradesman.Smaller decks can also made using hand tools in a workshop.

Smaller areas may be cut on a CNC machine. The template needs to be in an electronic form so the deck can be converted to a machine file and cut out on a CNC machine. The template outline may be submitted directly to us in an electronic dxf format or as a “hard template” in the form of plastic film or similiar. The template can be made using a digitizer directly on the boat or the template made in a hard form using plastic film and digitized in our workshops.
