Coverage Period: 6 Years from the Date of Purchase
At Deckfab, we take pride in designing and manufacturing high-quality synthetic teak decking panels. We are committed to ensuring our customers receive products that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability. This warranty outlines the terms and conditions of our guarantee.
1. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty applies to Deckfab synthetic teak decking panels and guarantees them against defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. Specifically, this warranty covers:
- Material Integrity: Protection against cracking, splitting, or delamination.
- Color Stability: Significant colour fading not caused by improper care or environmental extremes.
- Manufacturing Quality: Faults arising from manufacturing defects in the fabrication of the panels.
2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Improper Installation: Deckfab panels must be installed according to our guidelines. Issues resulting from improper installation are not covered.
- Improper Maintenance: Damage caused by failure to follow Deckfab’s recommended care and maintenance instructions.
- Chemical Damage: Use of unapproved cleaning agents or solvents that compromise the material.
- Non-Marine Applications: This warranty is limited to marine use and excludes any other applications.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Including minor scratches, abrasions, or weathering consistent with normal use.
3. Warranty Claims Process
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact Deckfab: Email us with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
- Inspection: Deckfab may request photographs or arrange an inspection to assess the defect.
- Resolution: For verified defects, Deckfab will repair or replace the defective panel at no cost to the customer.
4. Important Notes
- Installation Standards: While Deckfab guarantees the quality of the panels, proper installation is critical for best performance. Ensure panels are installed by qualified professionals .
- Limitations of Liability: Deckfab’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective panels. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including installation costs or associated labor.
5. How to Register Your Warranty
Should you feel the need to activate your warranty as the purchase was indirect and you did not receive your warranty certificate that goes out with our decking panels, please register your purchase within 60 days
